Christian Brunet studied at the Université Libre de Bruxelles where he earned his Bachelor degree and later his Master in Economics degree from the Solvay School of Business. He began his career at Suez Environment in their department of Finance and Administration (Brussels), and gained additional experience thereafter with Finance and Accounting position at Schlumberger (Oilfield) and then with Finance and Logistics position at Coloplast (Medical Devices). Immediately prior to joining the EORTC, Christian headed Finance, Administration & Logistics Departments at Will-Pharma. There, Christian was responsible for cash and risk management, business support and intelligence, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, direct and indirect tax compliance and optimization, development of transfer pricing strategy and documentation, as well as project management, HR, ITC and facilities.
Through his 20 years of experience Mr. Brunet has gained vast experience in the areas of accounting and finance management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, controlling, ABC costing processes, tax compliance, cash-flow management, risk management, ERP implementation and development, business processes analysis design, business intelligence tools, human resources and people management, and logistics and distribution.
As Chief Financial Officer of the EORTC, Christian is head of the Accounting & Finance and Contracts & Budget Departments, and supervises finance-related processes within EORTC.
